At our new location in Puyallup, we provide outpatient vascular treatment including treatment for varicose veins and spider veins.

Our Services Include:

Spider Vein Treatment

Spider veins can occur anywhere on the body, but are most common on the legs and face.  They vary in size and are blue, red or black “spidery” capillaries just under the surface of the skin.  While spider veins rarely cause symptoms or other medical problems, they can be unsightly.  We offer state of the art treatment for spider veins performed by board certified physicians.  Contact us for spider vein treatment in Puyallup and the surrounding area.

Varicose Vein Treatment

Varicose veins are swollen, enlarged veins occurring most often in the legs, but can develop anywhere in the body.  For many people, varicose veins can cause uncomfortable symptoms including leg edema (swelling), pain, itching, skin changes and ulcers.  Our physicians at Sound Vascular offer compassionate, high quality treatment for varicose veins in Puyallup.  If you are affected by symptomatic varicose veins, contact us for treatment.

Additionally, we can diagnose the following conditions:

  • DVT, or deep vein thrombosis, is a blood clot that forms in a large vein.  DVTs typically occur in the lower legs, but can occur in other areas of the body.  DVTs are potentially life-threatening, but if diagnosed quickly, rapid treatment can prevent bad outcomes such as pulmonary embolism, stroke or heart attack.
  • PAD, or peripheral arterial disease, is a disease of the circulatory system caused by atherosclerosis, or fatty deposits within the arteries.  Undiagnosed, PAD can progress to cause symptoms such as pain and numbness and poor wound healing of the affected extremity.  PAD is a serious condition, but if diagnosed it can be treated.  Our physicians at Sound Vascular can diagnose PAD and other vascular conditions in a comfortable, outpatient setting.
  • CAD, or carotid artery disease, also known as carotid artery stenosis, is a narrowing of the carotid arteries (found in the neck) due to a build up of fatty deposits.  CAD is serious condition, which left untreated, can lead to stroke or death.  Our physicians at Sound Vascular offer quick access to diagnose CAD in the Puyallup and surrounding areas.
  • AAA, or abdominal aortic aneurysm, is an enlarged aorta, the main artery in the body, within the abdomen.  Aneurysms, if large enough, can rupture causing significant consequences including death.  It is vitally important that AAAs are diagnosed quickly.  Here at Sound Vascular, we understand the importance of diagnosing vascular conditions quickly.  We offer same day appointments in a pleasant outpatient clinic in Puyallup.
